EYAIEnhancing Young Adults' Independence

What we do

Mentoring, training and real chances

Every part of EYAI points the same way: helping young adults gain the confidence, skills and experience that lead to employment and independence.

One-to-one mentoring

Every young adult is matched with a mentor who helps them build confidence, self-esteem and employability skills, one conversation at a time.

  • Regular one-to-one sessions with a consistent, friendly mentor
  • Goal-setting for work, education and independent living
  • CV, application and interview preparation
  • Support at the young adult's own pace, with no pressure

Café work experience

Pippa's Community Café is our training hub: real shifts, real customers and real skills, in a supportive environment before stepping into the wider workplace.

Common questions

Good to know

Who can EYAI support?

We support young adults aged 18 to 25 who want to build confidence, skills and independence. Our café also offers work experience for 16 to 18 year olds who need alternative education provision or experience for college applications and CVs.

Does the support cost anything?

No. Our mentoring and café training are free for young adults. As a charity we are funded by grants, donations and every coffee sold at Pippa's Community Café.

How do I refer a young adult?

Use the contact form, or email team@eyai.co.uk with a little background. Referrals come to us from parents, carers, schools, colleges and local authority partners, and we reply to every one.

How do I volunteer or offer work experience?

Choose Get Involved on the contact form, or browse our current openings on Volunteer Bucks. Employers can offer placements of any size: even a single afternoon of interview practice makes a difference.

Is the café open to everyone?

Yes. Pippa's Community Café is a safe, friendly space for the whole community, part of the Bucks Family Hub network, and it is wheelchair accessible with car parking.

Still unsure? Call 07835 939430 and ask: there is no such thing as a silly question here.

Ready to take the first step?

Whether you are a young adult looking for support, a parent, an employer or a future volunteer, we would love to hear from you.
